Not the answer you're looking for, but I always ended up writing my own because most standard solutions generate bloated or not-well-formed HTML and/or a mess of inline styles (which my Content Security Policy doesn't want). Past tense because I haven't recently worked on a project where WYSIWYG was necessary, but I'm afraid this still holds true.

GodRob @robertg611 However, there is also what I suspect is simply trolling. The error is pointed out by a user who takes the complete opposite point of view and dissects posts phrase-by-phrase (using excellent forum editing techniques I might add). I rarely recognize the user name and when I click on them to find more, I'm starting to notice a trend. The user usually has created their account 5-10 years ago but doesn't have much activity at all until recently. They also have no games in their collection, very few microbadges (usually only BGG awarded anniversary badges), and no ratings given. There are probably more similarities but these are the things I notice on the profile page at first glance. What started as a few unusual interactions on BGG has over the years formed a pattern.
